Disclaimer: This blog has the sole purpose of promoting Filipinos as a Virtual Assistant in general, without discrediting any race, as they could also fit most of the traits, if not all, that will be mentioned later.

So let’s begin!
Employees are also considered assets in a company, thus, they, too, have value. But what makes these employees valuable? Let’s try to dig deeper on whys?
The “YES!” man
Filipino freelancers are basically a “Yes!” man when it comes to following different virtual administrative tasks. Not that they don’t have ideas or would want to share them if they do have it, but Filipinos have a non-confrontational culture when it comes to dealing with their bosses. They simply prefer to follow what is being instructed to them and not question anything unless something is beyond their comprehension. From the superiors' end, all he/she needs to do is to give full details of the tasks, and with their keen attention to details will get them the job done!
The Pathfinder
These are not the your typical viking expedition of the past, but kind of similar in a sense that Filipinos are good in finding a way. They always and will always find a way or solution to make the job done whether in simple Data Entry Tasks, or the complex SEO (Search Engine Optimization) tasks. They will not stop until they find a way through it.
Hardworking People
A common trait that is being often described to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW), for example, is that they can even go beyond what is asked of them, whether it is the actual tasks or the time to be spent. Even if everybody else in the neighborhood is deep asleep, Filipino freelancers are still awake like an owl (with their glasses) in front of their computer or laptop. They give their 100% to the tasks as if their life depends on it (although it is for some). They could even consider their job as life itself, and not just an integral part of it.
Loyalties
Not so many people can be loyal. But Filipinos can be one of those few people. Filipinos are known to be happy people, thus making them stay where they are is nothing but a common thing for them. They prefer to stay than look for somewhere else and start anew. They can even stay for decades and some could even have a single job in his entire lifetime. Gratitude, or should I say “debt of gratitude” principle plays a major factor for every Filipino to stay loyal to whoever he/she deemed worthy of it.
The Optimistic one
If you are to construct a team, surround yourself with positive ones that will lift your spirits up and not drag them down. Even right after a calamity, Filipinos never fail to look on the bright side of everything. This is probably one of the best traits Filipinos have. They still find a way to smile and be happy with whatever the situation is and can look forward to a better and brighter future.
The Connectivity
Where could the human society now without the language? Can we understand each other the way animals do with their own kind? Who knows? But to me, probably not!. We, humans, are special. Unlike animals who only have to think about eating, sleeping, and reproducing, humans think far above and beyond every animal intelligence combined. Such a long introduction just to prove the importance of connectivity. And Filipinos are by far one of the most excellent English speakers and writers in the world where English is accepted as the International Language. Even an illiterate Filipino could understand a word or two when it comes to the English language.
The Price
While the saying “You get what you pay” is generally true, but not if you are a foreigner hiring a Filipino worker. Filipino services are relatively cheap, probably because the Philippines is considered a third-world country, and the cost of living in this country is very much low. You don’t need a hefty dollars to hire a Filipino. As I have said, Filipinos are a happy people. They easily get happy and satisfied.
These are among the few traits, yet the most remarkable ones, when it comes to Filipinos as a Virtual Assistant. Having them as part of your company will certainly be beneficial to you and your company as well.
